Webhooks

Send app events to Zapier, Make, n8n or your own server.

Open Settings → Webhooks in the builder, paste an endpoint URL and save (Starter plan and above). maker77 then sends a POST with a JSON body for every event:

EventWhen
record.createdYour app created a record
record.updatedA record was updated
record.deletedA record was deleted
user.signed_upSomeone signed up in your app
test.pingYou clicked “Send test event”
{
  "event": "record.created",
  "projectId": "abc123",
  "timestamp": "2026-10-01T10:00:00.000Z",
  "collection": "orders",
  "record": { "id": "…", "total": 42, "createdAt": "…" }
}

Verifying requests

Each request has an X-M77-Signature header: the hex HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body using your signing secret (shown in Settings).

import crypto from 'node:crypto';
const expected = crypto.createHmac('sha256', process.env.M77_WEBHOOK_SECRET).update(rawBody).digest('hex');
if (expected !== req.headers['x-m77-signature']) return res.status(401).end();

Webhooks are delivered once with an 8-second timeout. URLs must be public (private network addresses are blocked).
